About the Role
As a Lead Therapist at Soho House, you will oversee the daily operations of the therapy team, ensuring the highest standards of client care and service excellence. You will lead by example, providing expert treatments while mentoring and supporting colleagues to deliver an exceptional wellness experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of high-quality therapeutic treatments consistent with club standards and member preferences.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior therapists, ensuring continuous professional development and adherence to protocols.
- Manage daily treatment schedules, ensuring optimal team productivity and member satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new therapies, products, and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
- Handle member enquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with Spa Manager and other departments to coordinate wellness events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Manage stock levels of therapy products and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Lead regular team meetings to foster communication, motivation, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed client records and treatment documentation in line with confidentiality policies.
Requirements
- Up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue.
- Reliable, friendly, and a key part of a team that strives for success.
- Extensive experience as a qualified therapist with a broad range of treatments.
- Proven leadership experience within a spa or wellness environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team in a high-end service setting.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand.
- Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
