About the Role
Hultquist Place Assisted Living is seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide for 1st Shift to support residents and the care team. This role focuses on resident-centered care, safety, and independence, assisting residents with the self-administration of medications in accordance with New York State regulations and individualized service plans, while working under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with self-administration of medications per service plans
- Follow MAR/eMAR documentation and medication assistance procedures
- Observe and report changes in condition, side effects, or refusals
- Document assistance accurately and timely
- Ensure proper medication storage and safety practices
- Promote resident independence, dignity, and privacy
- Collaborate with nurses, aides, and the care team
- Participate in required training and quality initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of Hultquist Place’s in-house medication assistance training program, including demonstrated competency, is required prior to independent assignment and will be provided upon hire
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively

- $1.50/hour for 2nd shift (shift differential)
