About the Role
Change Grow Live is seeking an experienced Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join their Barnet service. This role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care to service users with complex health and substance use challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, interventions, and care for service users.
- Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, adhering to evidence-based practice and protocols.
- Prioritize health problems and intervene appropriately in complex, urgent, or emergency situations.
- Assess, update, and refer service users for BBV vaccination and immunization programs.
- Support service users in adopting health promotion strategies.
- Communicate effectively with service users and carers, addressing communication barriers.
- Maintain effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of consultations.
- Assess the effectiveness of care delivery through self and peer review and participate in the appraisal system.
Requirements
- Qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration and two years' post-qualification experience OR First level registered nurse with a current PIN and three years' post-qualification experience.
- Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber.
- At least one year of relevant and recent experience working within substance misuse treatment.
- Sound and demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
- Ability to assess and recovery plan service users and formulate written reports.
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Full driving licence and access to own transport, or ability to demonstrate easy movement between services.
- This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.

Salary/Compensations
- CGL points 43 to 48 (£48,987.04 - £54,663.24)
- Outer London Weighting (£2,250.61)
