About the Role

As a Sr. Key Account Manager, you'll drive business growth for our Costco retail partnership, owning sales quotas, expense budgets, and strategic planning. You will manage promotional spending, distribution, and shelf placement while building strong relationships with clients and key retailer contacts. This role involves leading Headquarter calls and partnering with clients to achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Drive client business at assigned customer, increasing distribution and growing sales KPIs within budget.
  • Ensure retail/merchandising execution and basic eCommerce execution.
  • Achieve P&L targets and manage business for assigned clients.
  • Implement marketing strategies and analyze trends to meet income and expense budget goals.
  • Monitor and drive revenue growth through efficient management of promotional spending.
  • Meet and exceed client goals for sales, distribution, pricing, shelving, and promotional volume.
  • Provide standard available services to support the "Customer as Clients".
  • Launch strategies to pursue new opportunities.
  • Manage and maximize manufacturer marketing/promotional funds to achieve sales goals within financial guidelines.
  • Secure client-approved schematics by providing directions to relevant departments.
  • Implement customer headquarter calls and penetrate key positions at retailer.
  • Organize business unit team to retain and expand client relationships.
  • Assist team in navigating the larger organization to align resources for client/customer initiative success.
  • Facilitate communication, opportunities, challenges, and workflow to team members.
  • Attend all Client meetings and reviews.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in applicable field.
  • Travel is an essential duty and function of this job up to 20%.
  • Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
  • Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day).
  • Ability to hear telephone.
  • Ability to enter data on a computer.
  • May require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
