About the Role

Room Leaders play a critical role in the successful operation of our world-class nursery, focusing on providing the very best care for our children and colleagues. We are looking for passionate, committed, energetic Room Leaders to be part of our opening team at our BRAND-NEW nursery in Sutton.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of your own room, encouraging good practice and being a good role model
• Provide the BEST experience for all children with safety and their well-being at the centre of focus
• Promote positive working relationships with the parents and colleagues within your room
• Responsible for supporting your colleagues in ensuring that they are completing planning, milestones and observations to the highest standards
• Drive a fun, action-packed day of activities, following the EYFS framework
• Provide an enhanced and positive mealtime experience
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements

• Must hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above
• Must have at least a level 5 (Grade C) in GCSE Maths and English
• Prior experience of looking after children from 3 months to 5 years
• Prior experience as a Room Leader in a large-scale nursery setting
• Must show they have the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Successful candidate will be subject to a DBS, reference and social media checks
