About the Role

We are seeking a Bartender to welcome guests, create an inviting environment, and prepare and serve beverages. This role involves communicating professionally with guests, collaborating with team members, and maintaining a strong understanding of responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each guest at the bar and create an inviting environment
• Communicate with guests in a warm, professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and well cared for
• Work collaboratively with all Smith team members to support a seamless guest experience
• Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for both bar and dining room guests, following standard recipes
• Maintain a strong understanding of responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance at all times
• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, proactive service throughout their experience
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
• Uphold all food safety, handling, and sanitation standards to ensure the safety of guests and team members

Requirements

• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Genuinely gets joy out of making people happy and is able to have fun while working
• Love and passion for the hospitality industry
• Excited about learning about food and beverage
• Willing to go above and beyond to please guests
• Previous experience as a Barista
