About the Role

As a Cloud & Infrastructure Specialist, you will support and maintain on-premise and cloud-hosted application server infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of systems that impact millions of plan members, offering opportunities to grow cloud and automation expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize cloud and server infrastructure.
  • React to infrastructure alerts and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining SLA commitments.
  • Perform server patching and OS upgrades.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Support software deployment activities.
  • Respond to requests from administration teams, clients, and internal users.
  • Manage ticket queue strategically.
  • Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Create clear technical documentation.
  • Maintain the configuration management database (CMDB).

Requirements

  • Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent education/hands-on experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including ticketing systems.
  • Strong proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Solid skills in PowerShell and scripting languages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong server infrastructure management fundamentals.
  • A genuine customer service orientation.
  • Ability to think analytically, solve problems creatively, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative.
  • Quick learner excited about tackling new challenges.
