About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, hardworking Team member to serve customers at our new Clubhouse Café at Gunnersbury Park. The café is part of the new Community Sports hub and will also double as a social and community space linking into community projects for all ages. This is a unique role balancing hospitality with social and community programs, offering an enriching experience with a diverse range of people and organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and serving coffee and tea to high standards
  • Serving healthy food and drinks efficiently and professionally
  • Responding to customer orders, questions, and concerns in a warm and helpful manner
  • Accurately handling payments
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene at all times
  • Being knowledgeable about our Clubhouse menu
  • Working collaboratively with other team members
  • Helping to create outstanding guest experiences
  • Carry out your role with passion and pride
  • Adherence to HACCP and all other food safety regulations and COSHH regulations, ensuring statutory requirements are met and all necessary records are maintained
  • Ensuring safe working with kitchen equipment and that all other health and safety procedures are followed
  • Maintaining a clean, healthy and safe working environment in accordance with guidelines
  • Dealing with customer feedback in a courteous, efficient and timely manner, monitoring and evaluating this feedback, making appropriate recommendations and acting for service improvements
  • Following established protocols for data protection and privacy
  • Staying informed about safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborating with other team members and departments to create a cohesive approach to safeguarding
  • Participating in meetings and contributing to the development and improvement of safeguarding policies
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, including safeguarding, health and safety policies
  • Ensuring compliance with the Club’s Code of Conduct
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships both internally and externally, always maintaining a professional image when representing Brentford FC Community Sports Trust
  • Keeping confidential any information gained regarding the Trust and its personnel
  • Maintaining a flexible approach to work
