About the Role

onX is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Content to define the Offroad content and data strategy, focusing on solving customer problems through connected, trustworthy content and data. This role is crucial for making onX Offroad the trusted authority for off-road navigation and will involve owning the content and data model, connecting customer research with external data sources, and managing the Trail Guide contributor community.

Responsibilities

  • Own Offroad's content and data strategy, translating customer needs and market research into content requirements.
  • Directly own research and exploration of third-party data sources.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Content to prioritize the content roadmap and define requirements.
  • Champion the customer's end-to-end experience with content.
  • Own the measurement and analysis of content’s impact on customer behavior, conversion and ROI.
  • Build and manage relationships with land management agencies and other data providers.
  • Manage the Trail Guide Program through a direct report.
  • Represent Offroad's content and data roadmap, priorities, and risks to leadership.
  • Collect and channel market trends, customer feedback, and research to continuously sharpen content and data priorities.
  • Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience leading software products or platforms.
  • At least four (4) years of product management experience.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in content strategy, data management, or program management.
  • Demonstrated experience translating customer needs into content or data-model requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience and genuine curiosity about end-user experience and jobs-to-be-done.
  • Genuine, credible ties to the off-road, overlanding, or powersports community.
  • Comfort moving between technical and relationship-driven conversations.
  • Demonstrated people-leadership experience, or a clear track record of directing the work of others without direct authority.
  • A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies, including AI.
  • A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onX’s Company Values.
  • Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment.
  • Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days.
