About the Role

The Senior Electrical Low Voltage Project Manager will lead fire alarm and BMS (building maintenance systems) related deliverables for a new data center site in Martindale, TX, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout. This role involves managing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, client relations, and overall project execution to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of low voltage electrical construction projects, specifically fire alarms and BMS, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
Assist in the development and management of project strategic plans and program initiatives to meet owner goals.
Act as Owner’s Advisor with primary responsibility for all project phases.
Manage the overall planning, design, and construction process, orchestrating all design and construction activities.
Guide clients through design and construction complexities, focusing on incorporating ownership priorities into design, construction logistics, and sequencing, as well as design management of A&E teams.
Coordinate with the Architect, Contractor, and other project team members to meet project objectives and resolve issues.
Lead all contract-related elements, including negotiation, drafting, and execution.
Manage overall project budget and schedule, reporting regularly to the project team and client.
Lead proposal review, leveling, and analysis, presenting findings to the client.
Lead the selection process for all consultants and vendors, including RFQ/RFP preparation, research, comparison, and negotiation of business terms, as well as team selection within firms.

Requirements

9+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
Experience managing large-scale mission-critical, data center, or industrial projects.
Experience with AV (audio-visual) systems, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, and IT-related electrical infrastructure, including coordination with technology integrators and network teams.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, codes, and industry standards.
Proven experience managing projects with significant electrical scopes and multi-million-dollar budgets.
Firm knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials, sequences, and architectural/construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills.
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff across organizational lines, including other client business units.
Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated success in building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
