About the Role
The Manager International Marketing will manage daily marketing promotion operations and stakeholders to ensure successful guest engagement. This role involves coordinating with various departments, supporting events, and fostering a positive atmosphere with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of marketing promotions and associated internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with and/or delegate to Purchasing, Advertising, Income Audit, Internal Audit, NYGC, Marketing Analytics, Player Development, Database Marketing, Digital AV, Players Club, Facilities, Slot Operations, Warehouse, and Security.
- Support management of Player Development Events and retail shopping events.
- Fill in for players club floor manager.
- Generate a positive and friendly atmosphere and support staff.
- Promote excellent customer service and employee relations.
- Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
- Execute slot tournaments to maximize guest engagement.
- Initiate contract review process with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring legal and insurance documentation is approved.
- Provide clear communication to customer-facing employees and departments regarding promotional event knowledge.
- Work with vendors to secure six figures in added promotional funding and reimbursements annually.
- Strategize, propose, implement, and execute promotions within guidelines and regulations.
- Draft, review, and publish Rules & Internal Controls to the gaming commission.
- Build a monthly promotions calendar to target segments profitably, aligning with database, direct mail, and RWNY marketing strategies.
- Draft, submit for approval, and ensure in-house voice-overs are created to promote all promotions.
- Submit advertising support needs for creation, tracking, and approvals.
- Ensure promotional vouchers and Free Slot Play vouchers are built and loaded into the CMS and Promotional Kiosk system.
- Submit invoice requests to accounting for vendor marketing support dollars post-promotion.
- Submit requests to cage management for cash vouchers as needed for prizes.
- Execute all promotions, drawings, and tournaments per audit and Gaming regulations.
- Maintain a prize winners log signed by multiple stakeholders.
- Create and submit monthly promotional witness calendar requests to the On-Site Gaming Commission, Audit, and the Slot Department.
- Track inventory of promotional items and cash prizes for audit submission.
- Coordinate with purchasing for monthly gifts and communicate product information to advertising and warehouse.
- Create and build all monthly promotions through the EVERI Kiosk.
- Evaluate event response rates through post-event reporting to optimize player engagement and profitability.
- Ensure departmental policies are adhered to.
- Maintain promotions and office environment cleanliness and efficiency.
- Disseminate relevant company information in a timely manner.
- Serve as department liaison in company meetings and training sessions.
- Foster collaboration and motivate property operating teams to achieve results and exceed customer expectations.
- Make management-level financial decisions and be responsible for customer profitability.
- Achieve personal and department goals.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree AND two (2) years’ experience in a Marketing, Promotions Management, or Promotions Supervisory position.
- OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Marketing, Promotions, or Promotions Management position.
- OR Two (2) years’ experience in a Marketing, Promotions, or Promotions Supervisory position within Resorts World.
- Experienced and proficient with Red Rock, PKMS, Trilogy, DRS, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent PC, communication, and delegation skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to stand and walk the property for entire shift.
- Must be able to lift, unpack, move, stack, and retrieve individual and multiple items weighing 50 pounds.
- Must be able to listen to customer concerns and make reasonable decisions based on company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to analyze situations and handle in a calm and rational manner.
- Must keep a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Must present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume, noisy environment with multiple distractions.
- Must be comfortable, proficient, and effective using property PA system.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
- Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to decipher various reports and maintain reports upon request.
- Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
- Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
