About the Role
Test Takers is hiring an Education Manager (Site Director) to lead instruction, work with families, and help manage and grow our Manhattan and Long Island program. This role combines teaching, student and family advising, and program and site leadership, offering meaningful responsibility, autonomy, and direct impact on site success.
Responsibilities
- Teach SAT classes and tutor students (test prep + academic)
- Adapt to different learning styles
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction
- Speak with prospective families and guide them toward the right program
- Help students get started with tutoring and classes
- Build strong relationships that drive retention and referrals
- Manage class schedules and student enrollment
- Coordinate day-to-day logistics and program execution
- Support and mentor tutors
- Contribute to outreach and local growth efforts
Requirements
- 2+ years teaching or tutoring high school students post college
- Strong SAT proficiency
- Excellent communication skills, especially with parents
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Takes initiative and follows through
