About the Role
This role serves as an MEP owner's representative supporting data center new build projects. You will lead MEP-related deliverables for medium to large-scale projects, overseeing team coordination, client communication, and the management of project scope, cost, and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams for large projects, multiple projects, or entire programs.
- Define the technical scope of projects.
- Promote opportunities for repeat business and foster favorable client references.
- Review cost estimates.
- Manage project-level conflict resolution.
- Maintain monthly project budgets for current and forecasted expenditures.
- Facilitate client communications and provide regular project reports.
- Achieve client objectives by managing project goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain attendance during normal business hours.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction management.
- Strong MEP project management experience, particularly in mechanical systems.
- Ability to manage and monitor team activity in alignment with organizational goals.
- Ability to delegate with clear instructions and provide ongoing feedback.
- Ability to monitor metrics, course correct, and hold self and others accountable.
- Ability to build relationships with internal resources.
- Ability to create development opportunities for direct reports.
- Ability to exercise creativity and resourcefulness in managing projects under compressed timeframes.
- Ability to distinguish between cause and effect of problems.
