About the Role

As a Cloud Platform Architect (m/f/x) for Microsoft Azure, you will shape future-proof cloud platforms together with our experts, develop scalable and secure Azure architectures, and thus create the technological basis for our customers' digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Become part of the team for the conception and implementation of cloud landing zones, container platforms, and cloud-native tools.
• Lead strategic consulting for the introduction of cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, based on customer-specific requirements.
• Conceptualize sophisticated cloud solutions and architectures regarding reliability, security, performance, and costs (considering current Azure services).
• Take responsibility for the technical leadership of international cloud engineering teams in the context of customer projects.
• Support pre-sales and sales activities in the cloud sector.
• Conduct feasibility studies and innovation projects and drive the further development of our service portfolio.
• Work closely with other national and international NTT DATA teams.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge in the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem, proven in hands-on projects.
• Several years of experience in the productive use of container platforms and serverless technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Azure AKS, Knative, or Azure Functions).
• Comprehensive knowledge in the introduction of cloud-native tools for Continuous Integration & Delivery, Observability, and Security (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, or Trivy).
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching of teams.
• Professional presentation of experiences and recommendations to decision-makers and large audiences through practical experience and high methodological competence in developing IT architectures.
• Knowledge of current technology trends and an understanding of upcoming developments in the cloud sector.
• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong communication skills and very good German and English language skills.
