About the Role

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Material Planning & SIOP to lead material planning, production scheduling, and inventory management activities that support on-time delivery and operational performance across our site. Your mission is to ensure the right materials are available at the right time while optimizing inventory, improving production flow, and effective planning and scheduling processes through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production and material plans based on manufacturing lead times, production priorities, and customer requirements.
  • Create and release Production Orders on time based on established production sequences and firing orders.
  • Monitor material and assembly availability to ensure production schedules and customer commitments are supported.
  • Partner with department supervisors and cross-functional teams to assess production status, identify constraints, and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Expedite materials, orders, and operations that may impact production schedules, on-time delivery (OTD), or customer commitments.
  • Provide weekly planning and performance reports, analyzing production plan adherence, material availability, and schedule performance.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of materials to production lines by effectively managing planning, staging, fulfillment, and material flow processes.
  • Support quarterly analysis of Excess & Obsolete (E&O), PFEP, and Effective Material Planning (EMP) to optimize inventory and material availability.
  • Coordinate changes in production priorities, order modifications, and material requirements with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in material planning, inventory control, receiving, staging, and WIP processes while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Prior experience in material and inventory planning, including material availability, inventory control, production requirements, and replenishment planning.
