About the Role

Responsibilities
- Handle phone-in customers with pleasant and courteous etiquette.
- Utilize product and technical knowledge to assist customers with product selection.
- Provide customers with written quotations including terms and delivery methods.
- Prepare customer sales orders and confirm payment terms/methods.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to customers.
- Resolve order issues by collaborating with external vendors and internal departments.
- Achieve monthly sales and gross margin goals.
- Encourage the use of digital tools across the customer base.
- Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks throughout the day.
Requirements
- Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and present solutions to customers.
- Ability to speak, read, and write proficiently in English.
- Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate computers and relevant computer software.
- Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to sit for much of the assigned shift while using phones and computers.
- Ability to walk between work area, counter, and warehouse throughout the day.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
