About the Role

Responsibilities

• Report to the Production Supervisor and communicate matters concerning the painting area.
• Ensure availability of required paint types, colors, and associated materials.
• Load/unload materials on the line as scheduled.
• Move material through the chemical wash to the spray booth via conveyor belt.
• Meet safety, product quality, productivity standards, and cost-efficiency objectives.
• Organize parts for assembly at the crating operation.
• Follow directions of the primary crater operator.
• Prepare sub-components for the crating operation.
• Obtain, accurately complete, and place production tickets.
• Comply with factory specifications for first-piece checks by contacting Quality Assurance.
• Maintain spray booth and equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to housekeeping and safety requirements, identify and report safety hazards, and meet WHMIS objectives.
• Ensure correct use and maintenance of tooling, equipment, and supplies.
• Support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct assigned general duties, specific projects, and responsibilities professionally and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Tow Motor License – Propane and Electric.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Counter Balance Forklift Operator License.
