About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will use your skills and experience to help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects. You will develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful, working with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role supports the assessment, design, development, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients, using data for impactful missions like fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
- Support the assessment, design, development, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients.
- Engage in analytical exploration and data examination.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers.
Requirements
- Experience in data engineering, pipeline development, systems administration, or software engineering.
- Experience with ETL operations.
- Experience with source control and collaboration software, including Git or Atlassian tools.
- Experience writing software in programming languages, including Python.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies, including SQL or GraphQL.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting on Linux or Windows operating systems.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain Bachelor's degree by December 2026.
