About the Role
Capital One is seeking Workday Engineers passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support Human Resource technology. As part of a team driving disruption, you will advance Capital One's Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence, championing automation and driving innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Understand and translate business priorities, integrating HR value proposition and strategies.
- Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits with efficient processes and high standards.
- Communicate effectively across teams, with Product Owners and stakeholders, influencing solutions with business partners.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with HR partners on innovative ideas to redesign business processes for optimal results.
- Design and develop complex integrations within the Workday platform using web service technologies (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT).
- Provide technical expertise on Workday Studio, security, system troubleshooting, data analysis, and vendor management.
- Lead a team of integrators and configurators to support Workday HCM modules.
- Align with product owners on priorities and deliver key objectives using Agile methodologies.
- Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests, and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 6 years of experience on HR platforms (Workday).
- At least 4 years of experience with Workday Integrations or functional configuration (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Performance Management).
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects.
