Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and explain all problems and options to clients.
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Follow building plans and blueprints.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Prepare budgets and cost estimates.
• Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
• Train apprentices and helpers.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Adhere to all federal, provincial, municipal and city plumbing codes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• A Licensed Plumber with 2-3 years of experience.
• Experience with Residential Plumbing work is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work as part of a team alongside other technicians (e.g., electricians, framers, etc.).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
• Valid G Driving License and clean driving record.
• Ability to be available on call during weekends and on holidays as required.
