About the Role
The Territory Manager, Bleeding Disorders Program reports to the Director, Bleeding Disorders Program. This role is responsible for building business by identifying and selling to prospects, and maintaining and enhancing current client relationships. Additionally, the role involves developing and executing programs for chronic diseases to support business expansion and client servicing.
Responsibilities
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
- Develops territory business plans to implement internal strategies and meet goals.
- Sells services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.
- Maintains client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Recommends new opportunities and profit/service improvements to clients.
- Identifies service improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Remains competent as a product and disease state expert.
- Participates in marketing and sales meetings, training programs, displays, and conventions.
- Completes company training, regulatory courses, and product knowledge training.
- Prepares weekly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains contact with Manufacturing Reps and Reimbursement Specialists to optimize customer relationships.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
- Provides input into the design and content of Regional meetings/conventions and makes presentations.
- Travels 50-80% of the time, including overnights and weekends.
- Identifies, coordinates, plans, and executes community-based educational opportunities.
- Attends local, community, and national events as needed.
- Serves and protects the Pharmacy by adhering to professional standards, company policies, procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and URAC/TJC/ACHC standard of care.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
- Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding confidential information.
- Understands and complies with HIPPA rules and regulations.
- Complies with accreditation, legal, regulatory, government, and safety requirements for all activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or other fields such as biology, sociology, psychology, communications, etc., however, may substitute related work experience for degree.
