About the Role
Join us to design and build the applications and services that give us deep insight into the operational health and efficiency of CloudKit, Apple's foundational privacy-focused database platform, and many other iCloud services.
Responsibilities
- Design and build applications and services for cloud services observability.
- Work across the full lifecycle, from designing new services to deploying them on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure and platform teams.
- Move fluidly between hands-on coding, architecture decisions, and production ownership.
- Apply new techniques, including machine learning, to solve operational problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience developing software in Java or a similar language (e.g., C++, C#, Go).
- Strong background in designing, building, and operating backend services and distributed systems.
- Experience in programming in concurrent and multi-threaded environments.
- Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
