About the Role

As an Associate Manager on the Digital Ordering Strategy & Operations team, you will own a set of products within our first-party suite from end to end. You will set the strategy and priorities for those products in partnership with Product, be accountable for their growth, and lead the Product, Engineering, Analytics, Implementation, Sales, and Marketing partners who bring them to market. This role is ideal for a strategic operator who can move fast and wear many hats, equal parts analyst, builder, operator, and cross-functional leader. You will own zero-to-one experiments alongside products already operating at scale, help shape the roadmap with Product, and work directly with merchants and frontline teams to identify the gaps worth solving. Scope on this team grows with demonstrated ownership, and the people who do well here identify problems independently and come back with a plan to solve them. Scope for this role can vary between Foundation Products: the products that are table stakes for every restaurant we serve and that drive the core of our revenue today, and Growth & Insights: the next generation of products and the experimentation engine behind them. We’re especially excited about candidates who’ve worked in fast-moving, founder-led, or resource-constrained environments, those who see lack of structure as an opportunity to build.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product line: Take end-to-end ownership of your products. Set the strategy, define the goals and KPIs that measure success, and prioritize where to invest. You will build the business case, the financial model, and the operating plan, then carry them through launch and into growth.
  • Lead cross-functionally: Bring Product, Engineering, Analytics, Implementation, Sales, Marketing, and Support behind a plan and hold partners accountable to it without formal authority. You will be the connective tissue that keeps a launch on schedule and the feedback loop that informs what gets built next.
  • Analyze: Pair complex data analysis with qualitative insight from merchants and frontline teams to guide strategic decisions. You will build your own models and translate what you find into action that improves both the merchant experience and internal execution.
  • Experiment: Design and launch zero-to-one tests, pilot AI-powered tools, build demos or prototype agents, and configure internal tooling that improves speed, accuracy, or effectiveness. You will move quickly to retire what does not work and scale what does.
  • Represent the merchant: Act as the voice of the merchant and the field, leading discovery interviews and synthesizing feedback from Sales, Implementation, Support, and merchants themselves to help influence product roadmaps and go-to-market priorities. You will ensure our products resonate with restaurants and scale with repeatable excellence.
  • Scale learnings: Codify what works. Build the repeatable frameworks, processes, and enablement that raise the bar across the org, and define best practices for launching new products in a way that’s scalable and measurable.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product, or founder-type roles
  • Have taken a product or concept from inception through launch and into growth, leading cross-functional partners without a fully defined brief
  • Demonstrate the judgment to set a product’s direction and prioritize the gaps that matter most to the business
  • Can devise and execute a strategy to achieve business outcomes
  • Bring a strong analytical background, with the ability to synthesize large data sets into meaningful insights (proficiency in SQL preferred)
  • Lead cross-functionally and influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Marketing
  • Develop goals and OKRs to measure success, and hold yourself accountable for the outcome
  • Carry executive presence and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences (e.g., sales reps, execs, and merchants)
  • Pilot or build with AI tools in real-world workflows
  • Bring a founder mindset, identifying problems independently and driving them to resolution
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Founding or operating your own company or product, or an early employee role at a startup
  • Building and executing go-to-market motions
  • Working in a high-growth environment
  • Client or account management
  • Building financial or sales forecasting models
  • Restaurant, SaaS, or marketplace businesses
  • Both zero-to-one work in a lean environment and scaling products at a larger organization
  • Are the first in your family to attend college
