About the Role

Clearwater at The Arboretum is a premier luxury senior living community in Austin, TX, seeking Servers to join their team and create celebratory experiences for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members, and guests professionally and efficiently.
• Assist residents with meal/menu selections as needed.
• Use proper etiquette while waiting tables, serving from the left and clearing dishes.
• Review residents’ dietary needs as outlined by the Culinary Director.
• Track resident attendance at meals.
• Ensure residents are greeted and seated properly, making efforts to integrate new residents.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area, complying with food handling and serving procedures.
• Display tact and friendliness when interacting with residents, associates, and guests.
• Clean and reset tables, returning dishes to the kitchen.
• Clean and set up dining and food service areas, including stocking condiments.
• Cooperate and assist with other kitchen and dining services to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist with breaking down deliveries, putting away stock, and washing dishes as needed.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and collect trays after meal service.
• Comply with Clearwater standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain a positive and professional image, including proper uniform and grooming.
• Represent Clearwater principles and core values daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
