About the Role
Premium Velocity Auto / Jiffy Lube is seeking a High-Energy Assistant General Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and lead a team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for hands-on leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy coaching, problem-solving, and building a positive store culture.
Responsibilities
- Opening/closing the store and maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
- Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
- Managing inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
- Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
- Leading by example using J Team Service Standards while performing lube services
- Creating a positive guest experience and resolving concerns with professionalism
- Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety compliance
- Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- At least 1 year of retail management experience (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
- Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
- Comfortable working in enclosed or semi-outdoor environments
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
