About the Role
Navitas is seeking an International Student Recruitment Manager to support student recruitment growth and achieve regional targets in coordination with in-college teams and offshore Student Recruitment Managers. This role drives long-term growth for specific products by supporting various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop marketing and communication plans and strategies for assigned regions, considering student recruitment cycles.
- Collaborate with Directors of Marketing and Recruitment to localize college value propositions.
- Support offshore recruiters to increase conversion across the student journey through activities like product training, masterclasses, virtual tours, Q&A sessions, and direct student follow-up.
- Provide information to potential students and parents via digital channels.
- Support the development of copy for email and digital campaigns.
- Proofread translated marketing collateral.
- Develop social media content to promote colleges/products.
- Support the development of student testimonials and regional marketing collateral.
- Evaluate academic background and English level of student applicants.
- May require international travel for marketing/recruitment events.
- Support the completion of projects that promote college/product brands.
- Support drafting and localizing communications from colleges to markets.
- Assist the Arrival team with student follow-up, pre-departure sessions, arrival guides, and communication channels.
- Attend periodic meetings with divisional and college teams.
- Support offshore recruitment teams in routing students to other colleges when PAL allocations are depleted.
- Provide regular pipeline updates.
- Support offshore recruitment teams in resolving student cases related to application assessments, admissions, and payments.
- Collaborate with Directors of Marketing and Recruitment on special cases to provide solutions or feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (marketing preferred).
- Experience in marketing and student recruitment.
- Full proficiency in a second language (preferred).
- Proven track record of strong sales performance.
- High-level numeric literacy and critical thinking.
- High level interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills in Business level English (written and speaking).
- Proven ability as a team player.
- Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking.
- Ability to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes.
- Flexible attitude to work, including willingness to work weekends and evenings.
- Holds a valid passport and is able and willing to travel internationally as required.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
