About the Role
Perform material handling duties including operating equipment for product receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and other basic inventory management functions.
Responsibilities
- Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks.
- Perform customer pickups as needed.
- Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated, and replenished daily, following all procedures.
- Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas.
- Manage par levels.
- Check for compromised products and expired inventory.
- Receive inbound materials, mark them with identifying information, and record the amount received.
- Sort materials and stock them on racks, shelves, or bins according to sequence (e.g., size, color, type, product code).
- Arrange materials for order assembly.
- Perform quality control.
- Move carts to and from loading docks.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Perform housekeeping duties including all forms of onsite cleanup.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and communicate in English.
- Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
- Must have strong interpersonal/relationship building skills.
- Must have a high sense of urgency.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- At least 1 year experience working in a hospital environment.
