About the Role

Perform material handling duties including operating equipment for product receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and other basic inventory management functions.

Responsibilities

• Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks.
• Perform customer pickups as needed.
• Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated, and replenished daily, following all procedures.
• Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas.
• Manage par levels.
• Check for compromised products and expired inventory.
• Receive inbound materials, mark them with identifying information, and record the amount received.
• Sort materials and stock them on racks, shelves, or bins according to sequence (e.g., size, color, type, product code).
• Arrange materials for order assembly.
• Perform quality control.
• Move carts to and from loading docks.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Assist with customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Perform housekeeping duties including all forms of onsite cleanup.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
• Must have strong interpersonal/relationship building skills.
• Must have a high sense of urgency.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• At least 1 year experience working in a hospital environment.
