About the Role

The Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to the Outfitters on the overnight shift within the retail store, focusing on sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management, and price change execution.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks and work assignments to team members, providing clear direction and ensuring proper execution.
• Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures and processes, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Maintain visual presentation standards, including signage, merchandise directives, planograms, recovering, and daily recovery.
• Ensure nightly replenishment of the sales floor from backstock, Distribution Centers, and direct vendor deliveries.
• Support inventory management by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, and display integrity checks.
• Assist the Management team with coordination of "Special Events", maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity, assortment determination, inventory accuracy, and proper display/signing of advertised items.
• Support the Management team in carrying out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, training, performance evaluation, and problem resolution.
• Assist in staffing the department with service-oriented associates, participating in interviews, coordinating training, and providing input on performance appraisals.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and coach associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team environment.
• Ensure all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with state and local regulations.

Requirements

• Availability to work overnight shifts.

Skills

• Ability to read and analyze certain reports
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public
• Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team
