About the Role

PNC's Capital Markets organization is seeking an Analyst to participate in a development program. This program offers hands-on experience, structured development, and formal learning, including an intensive credit training program. The goal is to transition analysts into production roles within PNC's lines of business. The Capital Markets track provides broad exposure to various business units within Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB), equipping participants with foundational and transferable skills for a successful career in banking.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as an analyst/associate in the line of business development program.
  • Performs or assists core group activities by applying knowledge to drive business results.
  • Works under supervision with potential limited approval or exception authority.
  • Participates in social learning, including networking, mentoring, job shadowing, and community outreach.
  • Participates in formal learning activities and completes related projects.
  • Supports internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service and ensuring problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Geographic flexibility is important for success in this program.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • Roles at this level are filled by recent university/college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills.
  • Includes individuals joining the organization through a corporate development/training program.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • This position is subject to the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) and, for any registered role, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) and/or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which prohibit the hiring of individuals with certain criminal history.

  • Base Salary: $39,100.00 – $126,500.00
