About the Role
Great Northern Insulation is seeking full-time General Construction Labourers for their Etobicoke, ON location, focusing on commercial and industrial projects. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for personal growth, a dynamic personality, and a strong interest in the construction field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the insulation of walls and other areas using appropriate materials.
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Perform job site clean-up.
- Undertake various maintenance tasks as needed.
- Work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends, starting as early as 6 am with flexible end times.
Requirements
- Experience in drywall, taping, roofing, landscaping, construction, or insulation is an asset.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors, hot/cold).
- Willingness to work province-wide, if needed, is an asset.
- Possession of a G Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract.
- Comfort working at heights and in tight spaces.
- Working at Heights certificate is an asset.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
