About the Role
Port Washington-based electrical contractor seeks to hire an electrical technician to install and service a variety of generators, backup energy storage systems, and solar panels.
Responsibilities
- Install and service generators, backup energy storage systems, and solar panels.
- Perform tune-ups and firmware updates.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose devices.
- Procure and install parts.
- Track database information.
- Register and commission devices for customers.
- Interact frequently with customers, maintaining a calm demeanor and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a vehicle in good working order.
- Must possess own PPE, tools, and meters.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Must have legal working papers.
Skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Fieldpulse, Simpro, and other software is a big plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
