About the Role

Viva Eve is reinventing the women's healthcare experience by offering personalized, patient-centered care. We aim to empower women to take control of their health through a multidisciplinary team of specialists, providing a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient treatments and procedures, staying updated on the latest treatments.
• Be willing to be trained and assist providers for procedures.
• Set up, clean, and maintain exam rooms, bathrooms, and utility areas daily.
• Collect appropriate lab samples, prepare and label specimens, and ensure timely delivery.
• Record patient vital signs in electronic charts, perform phlebotomy, and inform patients of provider recommendations.
• Coordinate patient flow with the provider, biller, and front desk team for a positive patient experience.
• Assist in emergencies as directed by providers.
• Continuously file all patient information in electronic charts and scan lab and operative results into patient files.
• Maintain adequate inventory of pharmaceutical samples, clinical supplies, and equipment.
• Routinely remove expired samples and medical supplies.
• Secure medical record numbers from appropriate hospitals if necessary.
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations, compliances, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 1 year or more of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical assistant certificate or 2-year Medical Assistant Associate's degree.
• Phlebotomy experience in a patient setting.
• Positive attitude.
• Well-spoken.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience in private practices and OB/GYN highly preferred.
• Experience with AthenaOne EMR.

• Four-day workweek consisting of 10-hour shifts
• Occasional Saturdays based on business needs

Salary/Compensations

• $19 to $24 Per Hour depending on experience and level of education.
