About the Role
CBI Home Health is seeking an HRSS Coordinator for a 6-month contract position in Ontario. This role serves as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, ensuring timely support and guidance on HR policies, programs, payroll, benefits, and employee changes. The position involves maintaining accurate employee records, supporting employee lifecycle activities, and assisting with HR projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, providing timely support and guidance on HR policies, programs, payroll, benefits, and employee changes.
- Process employee changes, employment contract amendments, and employment verification requests.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
- Escalate and coordinate inquiries with appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Research and respond to HR-related questions and issues.
- Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and administrative activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with company policies, privacy standards, and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or customer service role.
- Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and applicable employment legislation.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written communication and documentation abilities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a changing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS/HCM systems.
