About the Role
Okta is building the trusted, neutral infrastructure to safely embrace the AI era. This role focuses on defining and launching Auth0 products for Agentic AI, with an emphasis on agent identity, access management, and protocols that extend trust to AI products. The position requires a highly technical product manager adept at developing customer-focused product strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Identity and AI Product Strategy, driving the roadmap and execution for Auth0’s AI portfolio, focusing on secure identity solutions like Auth0 for AI Agents.
- Identify tactical integration opportunities and ecosystem partnerships to secure agentic workflows and deliver value to developers.
- Bring a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset to define, prototype, and launch new identity features for AI applications, balancing experimentation with engineering discipline.
- Serve as the core product owner and direct collaborator for engineering, design, and security teams, translating the AI product vision into technical requirements and managing the backlog.
- Gather direct feedback from the developer community and early adopters to uncover and validate security and identity pain points in AI implementation.
- Strategize and implement emerging standards in identity and AI, such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), Dynamic Client Registration (DCR), Client-Initiated Backchannel Authentication (CIBA), and Client ID Metadata Documents (CIMD).
- Partner with GTM teams (Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Sales) to support product launches, creating technical enablement assets, documentation, and messaging.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of product management experience, with a significant focus on Business-to-Business Software-as-a-Service (B2B SaaS) and developer-facing products.
- Strong understanding of identity protocols like OIDC, SAML, and AI protocols MCP, CIMD, mTLS, and CIBA.
- Deep understanding of the emerging agent ecosystem, with the ability to write code, work directly with APIs/SDKs, and build prototypes.
- Demonstrated success in building and launching new products, features, or programs from scratch and executing the technical roadmap to scale them.
- Ability to deeply understand developer pain points, security requirements, and identity friction, translating them into compelling product experiences.
- Comfortable diving into technical API specifications, data schemas, and identity standards while collaborating on a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.
- Ability to drive alignment and lead through influence in a highly cross-functional organization.
- Consistently demonstrates an understanding of their audience when communicating, appropriately simplifying the message.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the potential of AI and a deep, demonstrable interest in the future of secure identity for users.
