About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to join a large, collaborative team that has been integral to the design of a major ground-up cultural project and will now carry that work through a multi-year Construction Administration phase. The Intermediate Architectural Designer will work closely with the project team to support the continued development, coordination, and documentation of the design through construction.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases of project development, from design through construction administration.
- Prepare, develop, and coordinate design and construction documents.
- Develop and maintain Revit models and utilize BIM to support project documentation, consultant coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and design coordination.
- Coordinate architectural work with structural, MEP, and specialty consultants using BIM tools to support project coordination and resolve design conflicts.
- Participate in Construction Administration activities, including reviewing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, site observations, and coordination with contractors and consultants.
- Produce high-quality project deliverables while meeting project schedules and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution.
- Contribute to technical problem-solving and project coordination throughout all project phases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure is preferred.
- Experience on large cultural, civic, institutional, or similarly complex projects is preferred but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and other design technology software.
- Strong BIM skills, including model management, interdisciplinary coordination, and experience using BIM for design coordination and clash detection.
- Familiarity with MEP systems and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to independently develop and apply architectural solutions for assigned project tasks with guidance from senior project leadership as appropriate.

Salary/Compensations
- $75,000-$95,000
