About the Role

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills conducive to a collaborative environment.
  • Possession of character traits such as zest, grit, hope, love, social intelligence, gratitude, and a sense of humor.
  • At least two years of teaching experience is strongly preferred.
  • New York State teacher certification in the appropriate content area.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A passion for contributing to a team-oriented, mission-driven school culture.
  • A strong desire for professional development within the KIPP NYC team.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student achievement levels for the communities KIPP NYC serves.
  • Must notify HR of any relocation or plans to relocate outside of a commutable distance or out of New York State.
  • Must not require visa sponsorship or work authorization.
