About the Role
Canon USA is seeking a Copier Account Executive to develop strategies for increasing sales with key decision-makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and end users. The role involves promoting strong business relationships with assigned dealers, presenting high-level sales strategies and technical workflow solutions to Fortune 500 executives, and providing technical expertise for hardware and software selection. The candidate must live near a major US airport within the Northeast region.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to increase sales with key decision makers in the Dealer Sales Channel and with End User.
- Promote the business relationship between company and Assigned Dealers and/or Offices.
- Communicate effectively with Fortune 500 Customers including CEO, CIO, and CFO's presenting High Level Sales Strategies, ROI, and Technical Workflow analysis.
- Assist the Dealer Sales Channel and End User Customers with technical knowledge that allows for detailed analysis and recommended hardware and software solutions.
- Manage Dealer Sales Channel account accounts, territories, marketing program implementation, education, and other Channel related support.
- Conduct High Level Introductory Sales Calls.
- Provide Retail Sales Channel proposal development and bid support assistance.
- Coordinate and implement product launches and equipment/software updates with Dealer Sales Channel.
- Manage coordinator of certain events/tradeshows.
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
- Apply professional expertise to resolve routine issues within company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Experience with copier sales / A3 market is required.
- Experience selling directly to end users is required.
- 5+ years in sales/sales support and industry related experience.
- Travel of over 75% or more in the assigned region is expected.
- Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license.
- Requires driving, therefore a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary.
- Must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- The Company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship.
- All applicants must reside in the United States at the time of hire.
Skills
- B2B retail sales experience preferred.
- Customer face to face experience preferred.
- Copier dealer experience preferred.
- Copier manufacturer experience preferred.
- CompTIA CDIA/CDIA+ Certification is a plus.
- CompTIA Network+ Certification is a plus.
- Possesses specialized knowledge or skills in a particular functional area.
- Has working knowledge of company products and services.
- Developing professional expertise.
