About the Role
This position ensures the highest compliance with Medication Management regulations, including CMS, JCAHO, DEA, BOP, and USP. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, preparing medications for administration, supporting inventory and purchasing, managing 340B and financial pathways, and participating in problem-solving and software management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure highest compliance with Medication Management regulations (CMS, JCAHO, DEA, BOP, USP).
- Provide direct and indirect patient care.
- Prepare medications for administration.
- Support inventory and purchasing functions.
- Manage 340B and financial pathways.
- Participate in critical problem-solving.
- Utilize software knowledge and management skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and independent workload management.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician licensure required (or eligibility to obtain licensure within six months of employment).
- Hospital/institutional experience preferred.
- One year of relevant healthcare experience required in lieu of licensure at time of hire.
- This is a bargaining union position.
