About the Role

As a Tool Repair Technician, you will be at the forefront of our repair process, working collaboratively within a team environment to focus on tool inspection, repair, and maintenance. This role requires regular interaction with customers and effective communication across departments to ensure timely and quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect tools and equipment for defects or signs of damage
  • Disassemble tools, diagnose issues, and identify faulty components
  • Perform repairs on various power tools and hoists
  • Replace defective parts, including motors, gears, and electrical components
  • Reassemble and test tools to ensure proper functionality
  • Clean tools and conduct quality checks to uphold safety and durability standards
  • Perform ISO/IEC 17025:2017 calibrations
  • Interact professionally with customers to provide updates and gather repair-related information
  • Accurately enter repair information into the ERP system

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of tool mechanics and repair procedures
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair machinery
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
