About the Role

This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for undergraduate academic requirements, degree audits, transfer evaluations, and advising assignments within the College of Business Administration. It supports core academic and operational functions, focusing on degree audits, graduation processing, curriculum updates, and data reporting, while also managing daily operations of the Undergraduate Programs and Student Engagement office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage student academic records and progression processes, including graduation reviews, degree audit adjustments, course substitutions, curriculum updates, change of major requests, course overrides, prerequisite compliance, and academic policy exceptions.
  • Coordinate transfer and enrollment processes, including transfer course equivalencies, Transfer Course Reviews (TCR), verification of transfer admission requirements, and advising prospective internal transfer students.
  • Advise Business Administration minor students on the application process, acceptances, and course recommendations.
  • Track and maintain advising loads by assigning academic advisees to advisors and ensuring roster accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze student data using university systems for majors, minors, degree applicants, advisor assignments, cohorts, and other college metrics.
  • Collaborate with faculty, advisors, the Registrar's Office, and campus partners to resolve student record concerns, academic holds, scheduling issues, and degree audit exceptions.
  • Support curriculum and program administration by coordinating academic bulletin revisions, validating semester course schedules, and ensuring accuracy of academic records.
  • Oversee student-facing operations and ensure effective delivery of academic support services through the Undergraduate Programs and Student Engagement Office.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, prospective students, and visitors, providing front desk support, responding to inquiries, and connecting individuals with resources.
  • Coordinate day-to-day office operations, including space management, event logistics, office procedures, supply procurement, expenditure tracking, and maintaining a professional office environment.
  • Assist with the administration of the Suitable platform and CBA Advantage program, including event uploading, approvals, data maintenance, reporting, and process support.
  • Represent the Undergraduate Programs & Student Engagement Office at university events and outreach activities.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the Assistant and/or Associate Dean(s).

Requirements

  • Typically a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in an academic program office or customer service role involving complex processes.
  • Exercises independent judgment in interpreting academic policies, degree requirements, transfer equivalencies, and curriculum standards within established university guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in recruiting, marketing, social media, higher education curriculum, course sequences and requirements, course offerings, admissions requirements, graduation requirements, and university resources.
  • Familiarity with academic processes and procedures, Registrar office, and Financial Aid office.
  • Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and execute day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and maintain a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate the flow of work on a daily basis.
  • Ability to write and edit, prepare memos and minutes, and type reports efficiently.
  • Highly developed organizational and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) and other campus databases.
  • Maintain highly effective working relationships with key faculty and academic personnel.

Salary/Compensations

  • $72,800 annually
  • $61,800.00 - $77,300.00 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
