About the Role
Archipelago is seeking an Associate Account Executive to join our growing go-to-market and sales organization. You will help preserve and expand our customer base by supporting sales leadership through reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. You'll work alongside experienced sales professionals to identify growth opportunities and help turn them into profitable, long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support and help drive sales goals by assisting in prospecting, qualifying, and managing new business opportunities, with a focus on building pipeline within key insurance broker and commercial property accounts.
- Prepare and develop data analysis and presentations for prospect meetings.
- Conduct demonstrations and training of the Archipelago platform to show value proposition.
- Partner with sales leadership to run discovery conversations, support product demonstrations, and assist in coordinating structured pilots with clear success criteria and timelines.
- Prepare Customer Order Forms and assist in managing the contracting process in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Security teams.
- Partner closely with your Commercial Account Managers on their account prioritization, ensuring your efforts maximize revenue opportunities within accounts.
- Partner with Marketing/BDR on targeted campaigns; work with Product and Customer Success to translate pilot feedback into wins and expansions.
- Maintain complete, accurate CRM hygiene (activities, contacts, stages, next steps); report on KPIs and continuously refine the sales process.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in the Property Insurance industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Deep curiosity for product knowledge, with a passion for translating that understanding into customer solutions.
- High-energy self-starter who takes initiative, brings fresh ideas, and operates with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong work ethic with a resourceful, ownership-oriented mindset — willing to go the extra mile.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a pod team structure and understands that collective effort drives sales success.
