About the Role

White Construction is seeking a Superintendent to oversee construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, managing costs and schedules, and upholding quality and safety standards. This role involves strong contract and relationship management, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Possess in-depth knowledge of project plans and ability to predict potential problems.
• Effectively control costs and maximize profitability by understanding and analyzing material and method costs.
• Prepare, adjust, and adhere to project schedules, displaying a sense of urgency.
• Ensure quality construction by utilizing the WCC QA/QC program guidelines.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and implement preemptive measures for safe work practices.
• Understand subcontracts, subcontractor responsibilities, and scope of work.
• Represent White Construction by building and maintaining client and peer relationships.
• Attend industry networking events and foster business opportunities.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a professional, intelligent, and concise manner.
