Under the direction of the RN, assists in providing nursing services to residents within a trauma-informed environment.

Provide nursing services to residents.
Monitor facility to ascertain resident activities and general status.
Initiate appropriate action to ensure resident and facility safety and well-being.
Document significant activity in the clinical log.
Assess and monitor residents experiencing signs and symptoms of withdrawal using appropriate scales.
Provide crisis intervention counseling to residents as needed and document sessions.
Complete resident incident/accident or medical emergency forms.
Answer phones and provide assistance.
Meet regularly with RN/Health Coordinator for supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned.

NYS Licensed Professional Nurse.
Experience working with individuals with substance abuse and trauma disorders.
Familiarity with military culture preferred.
