About the Role

CHS is hiring an Experienced AP/AR Specialist to provide day-to-day support for business unit customers and vendors through the procure-to-pay process, seeking process improvement efficiencies and understanding corporate structures. The role also involves participating in special projects and other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Track receipt of data and source documents.
• Prepare and sort source documents and interpret data for entry.
• Contact preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
• Maintain accurate and complete client files/filing.
• Perform data entry in the Accounts Payable/Account Receivable System, including coding, confirming accuracy, and making corrections.
• Contribute to team efforts to achieve results.
• Perform general clerical duties such as typing, scanning, copying, answering phones, and filing.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Pre-employment screening may be required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMSCA Clearinghouse.
