About the Role
The Wealth-Tech / Custodian Strategic Account Manager (SAM) role is a client-facing position on the Wealth Management Platforms team, serving as the secondary point of contact for existing FinTech/Wealth-Tech and leading Custodian client relationships. This role supports critical client relationships and works with experienced Senior SAMs to elevate the Invesco brand across client firms, offering a significant professional development opportunity. The primary focus is supporting Custom Model and SMA product lines in US Retail, as well as Custodian and TAMP platforms for RIA marketplace product access.
Responsibilities
- Execution, education, and field adoption of the FinTech Firms business plan.
- Placement of IVZ products on Client Partner Platforms.
- Training of Field Sales teams about the FinTech ecosystem and its impact on sales and growth.
- Representing Invesco at Industry and Client events to promote IVZ products.
- Negotiation of business contracts and financial terms for organic growth and advisor education.
- Dissemination of data to assist field sales with sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in financial services with an emphasis on the RIA marketplace and broad knowledge of related job families (e.g., financial sales, strategic accounts).
- Keen interest in the growing RIA marketplace, with an emphasis on technology platforms serving this community.
- Ability to lead others to solve complex problems requiring significant initiative and independent judgment.
- Ability to work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations.
- Skill in converting technical FinTech client information and Custodian platform knowledge into compelling business context and advice for field sales teams.
- Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Ability to work on complex assignments requiring significant initiative and independent judgment to determine a course of action within established goals.
- Application of previous financial services sales, strategic accounts, and RIA experience and skills to solve complex problems creatively.
- Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view.

- $130,000 - $150,000 Base/year
