Responsibilities
- Deliver product to retail accounts using commercial delivery trucks, vans, and/or tractor-trailer combinations.
- Follow an outlined itinerary and adapt to changing daily needs within a team environment.
- Collect payments from accounts as needed.
- Lift, stack, and transport cases and kegs of beer of varying weights to accounts.
- Build strong relationships with retailers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner and rotating product as necessary.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, display forms, load sheets, and cash/checks within appropriate time frames.
- Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents promptly.
- Manually load and unload product from side loader trucks.
- Collect payment for product as required.
- May be assigned to warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a safe driving record.
- Able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Physical demands include considerable time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds.
- Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
- Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions.
- Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules may be required.
