About the Role
Team members are responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service, potentially working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. They must represent Regal according to the company's mission and policies, including maintaining regular attendance, handling emergencies, performing cleaning duties, and adhering to the dress code.
Responsibilities
- Operating POS system, including cash drawer accuracy, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discounts/coupons.
- Up selling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promoting the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Responding to guest phone calls and questions.
- Preparing and cleaning concession equipment.
- Complying with all food safety laws.
- Abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current.
- Selling/serving alcohol if applicable and of legal age.
- Completing required training materials on topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tearing tickets, collecting stubs, and directing patrons to auditoriums.
- Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats.
- Enforcing the MPAA rating system.
- Conducting in-auditorium inspections for quality and safety.
- Reporting problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
- Performing in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales.
- Cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas.
- Monitoring the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties.
Requirements
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
- Completion of any legally required state or local training and obtainment of the required certificate for selling/serving alcohol.
- Completion of the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.
- Possess good public speaking skills.
