About the Role

This hands-on, client-facing role within a private equity fund services team is designed for early-career accounting professionals. You will develop expertise in fund structures and portfolio activity while preparing capital calls, distributions, financial statements, and performance metrics. The position offers direct exposure to clients, investors, and auditors in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with clear paths for professional advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review capital contribution and distribution calculations, management fee calculations, and monthly cash reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review quarterly incentive allocation models based on partnership agreement terms.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual partnership financial statements, including statements of assets and liabilities, operations, partners' capital, cash flows, and footnotes.
  • Prepare supplemental management reports and performance metrics.
  • Input investment and expense wires.
  • Prepare quarterly invoices for portfolio companies.
  • Prepare materials for interim and annual audits and maintain relationships with auditors.
  • Coordinate investor notices including distributions, capital calls, and capital balances via investor portal applications.
  • Answer investor inquiries and requests in collaboration with clients.
  • Manage project timelines and participate in weekly external calls to address client needs.
  • Maintain working knowledge of key systems including Investran, Workday, and CRM platforms.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks promptly.
  • Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
