About the Role

The AVP, PPP Strategy & Platform Growth will play a central role in driving platform growth, advisor adoption, product innovation, and advisor experience enhancement for Platinum Private Portfolios (PPP), a core strategic growth initiative for iAS and Wellington-Altus. The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership, influence strategic priorities, and shape new platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the growth strategy for Platinum Private Portfolios.
  • Identify opportunities to increase advisor adoption, platform utilization, and assets under administration.
  • Monitor industry, competitive, and advisor trends to inform strategic direction and platform enhancements.
  • Develop recommendations that strengthen PPP's long-term positioning and growth trajectory.
  • Track and report on platform growth, adoption, and key business metrics.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the PPP platform and advisor experience.
  • Help prioritize, develop, and implement new platform capabilities and enhancements.
  • Translate advisor feedback and business objectives into practical, scalable improvements.
  • Partner with Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Investments, Advisor Engagement, and Technology teams to bring new capabilities to market.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform differentiation and advisor value.
  • Serve as a key PPP subject matter expert supporting advisors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support advisor engagement initiatives that increase PPP awareness, adoption, and utilization.
  • Participate in advisor meetings, presentations, educational sessions, and business development opportunities.
  • Develop practical frameworks and resources that support advisor implementation and ongoing success.
  • Help position PPP as a core component of advisor growth strategies.
  • Help improve the advisor and client experience across the full PPP lifecycle.
  • Support the development of advisor-facing and client-facing marketing materials and communications.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve scalability, and reduce friction.
  • Leverage technology, workflow automation, AI-enabled tools, and agent-based productivity solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated strong judgment, initiative, and execution capability.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, build trust, and drive outcomes across diverse teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • A background check, satisfactory to the employer, may be required.

Experience Level

  • Approximately 5-8 years of experience in wealth management, asset management, investment solutions, practice management, product management, business development, advisor consulting, or a related field.

Education Level

  • CFA, CIM, CFP, MBA, or progress toward an industry designation is considered an asset.

Salary/Compensations

  • $120,000 - $150,000 annually
