About the Role
The Global Sales Support Specialist resides within the Finance organization and fulfills key support functions to help ensure revenue attainment. This role will support the Field Sales Team with quoting complex deals, educating on one-off quotes to order inquiries, and advising on product configuration rules. They will also support short-term marketing sales promotions and work with internal business partners to guarantee deals move forward.
Responsibilities
- Support the Field Sales Team with quoting complex deals.
- Educate on one-off quotes to order inquiries.

- Facilitate training with the Field Sales Team on quote-to-order processes and procedures guidelines.
- Conduct new hire training, including SFDC beginners and advanced quoting sessions.
- Identify system gaps or improvement opportunities and escalate to proper resources for resolution.
- Manage Global Sales Support activities with accuracy and speed from a shared mailbox.
- Prioritize requests for assistance from an Account Manager based on revenue acquisition, customer relationship building, and other determining timing requirements.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of related experience in sales support or sales operations environment preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to communicate with customers, distributors & resellers.
- Organized with demonstrated initiative.
- Must be able to independently handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to ensure timelines are met.
- Willingness to work extended hours depending on month-end or quarter-end workload.
- Alternate shifts are required to accommodate global requests.
Skills
- Proficiency with Google products.
- Experience in CRM systems preferred (Salesforce CPQ and Steelbrick highly preferred).
